The Logistics Operations Coordinator designs and organizes strategies for managing the flow of raw materials, finished products and/or semi-finished products—from purchasing from suppliers to delivery to internal and external customers, as well as the importation of finished products—with the constant goal of optimizing the balance between cost, delivery times, and quality.
Reports to: General Manager.
Work location: Barranquilla.

1. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Industrial Engineer.
2. SPECIFIC TRAINING OR SPECIAL SKILLS
English
3. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
6 years of experience in similar positions.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
1. Ensures the coordination of logistics information flows between various internal company departments (production, planning, distribution, purchasing, etc.) and external parties (customers, suppliers, etc.).
2. Monitors safety stock levels and various ERP parameters, ensuring they are validated whenever necessary to prevent stockouts.
3. Develops and monitors the company’s logistics indicators for each process under their responsibility.
4. Oversees the purchasing process, from supplier selection to receipt of goods.
5. Manage the supply of raw materials, components, or finished products from other entities within the Vygon Group via the ERP system, defining baseline parameters (safety stock, minimum order quantity, multiples, etc.).
6. Manage, organize, and audit warehouses (Industrial Warehouse, Sterile Product Warehouse, Consignment Warehouse) regarding inventory reliability.
7. Ensures that all materials and components are available on the required dates to guarantee the delivery of finished products.
8. Defines and optimizes stock levels and monitors expiration dates in accordance with the needs of distribution orders and domestic purchase orders.
9. Ensures the shipment of products to domestic and international customers, optimizing delivery times and costs.
10. Review and sign purchase orders before sending them to suppliers.
11. Draft and/or approve documentation related to your department.
12. Serve as the primary point of contact between Vygon Group’s central planning department and the Colombian subsidiary.
13. Plan and execute cyclical and general inventories at all facilities where the company stores raw materials, finished products, semi-finished products, and supplies, including the preservation of manufactured and imported products, ensuring control and reliability.
14. Ensure compliance with procedures for receiving and inspecting, conditioning, storing and preserving, preparing, and dispatching products in accordance with Resolution 4002 in the Sterile and Imported Product Warehouse.
15. Ensure the proper storage of finished products in accordance with the inspection status.
